The South Strand Service Unit invites all Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts to the…“Take Action” Ornament Workshop, Thursday, December 5th, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Socastee United Methodist Church.

Join us in making ornaments, one to keep and one to give away, and cookies. You will have the opportunity to make an ornament for yourself and enjoy spending time with your Girl Scout sisters and having fun! There’s a rumor that Santa might even stop by for a Photo Op! We will also be collecting nonperishable food for Backpack Buddies. We ask all girls to bring 3 nonperishable items or $5 to the event.

**Please note: ****Ornaments will be done by Grade Level. Multi-grade level troops will be separated by grade level. **

Deadline to register: November 3rd, Late registration deadline: November 7th (An additional $20 will be added to late registrations)

Where: Socastee United Methodist Church

When: December 5th from 6:00-7:30

Cost: $10 per girl including crafts, cookies, and a patch. $3 for additional patches ONLY for adults.

Backpack Buddies is a program where they discreetly send children home from school on Friday with a weekend meal and snack packages. List of suggested donations:
